THE GEOGRAPHY

Calabria is the region in South Italy known as the “arch” of the “boot” of Italy. Geographically, it is a highly rich and diverse region, where the mountainous and hilly interior meet with over 750km long coastline overlooking the Thyrenian sea on the one side and the deep blue Ionian sea on the other side. The proximity of the mountains to the sea creates an extraordinary climate with an
average temperature ranging stably between 10-30°C and not experiencing extreme peaks, that would harm the quality of the olives.
